Highway Thirteen Wins the Story Prize
Highway Thirteen (Farrar, Straus and Giroux) by Fiona McFarlane wins the Story Prize. NewLit congratulates UC Berkeley English Department faculty member Fiona McFarlane on achieving this honor.

The Story Prize is a $20,000 award that honors the author of "an outstanding collection of short fiction."
Fiona McFarlane has been involved in New Literary Project for many years as coordinator of our Bonetti-Bell Fellows. She is a beloved professor at UC Berkeley.
