T. Geronimo Johnson has been compared to Tom Wolfe, Mark Twain, Toni Morrison, H.L. Mencken, Don DeLillo, David Foster Wallace, Norman Mailer and Ralph Ellison. His award-winning novel ‘Braggsville’ has been called “the funniest sendup of identity politics, the academy and white racial anxiety to hit the scene in years” (New York Times) and a “searing, shocking look at racial issues and campus activism” (Men’s Journal). “Braggsville” involves UC Berkeley students and a re-enactment of a Civil War play in the South; need we say more? Get a peek into Johnson’s new novel underway about the convergence of Afro-futurism, global AI, corporate religion, tech inequity and more.
